Yes. When updates are released for a resource you own, you will continue to have access to the latest version through the appropriate delivery platform. Unless specified about a specific resource for good reason/s.
To an extent yes the only files that would remain escrowed in Source Code would be the UI Folder as I do not want persons messing with UI code which they might not know about and its just additional support on top and also I don't want my UI to be redesigned. Everything else would be opened (unless specified otherwise)
